Sampy Gajre, President of CareerSearch Dynamics, hosted our April networking event at Prestige World Class.  CareerSearch Dynamics specializes in placing IT professionals in North America, and Sampy has been increasing her use of LinkedIn to help identify potential job candidates.

LinkedIn Omaha has been attracting the attention of non-LinkedIn users.  Two people who were interested in the site but wanted a real-life experience before creating a profile attended the user group meeting.  Based on his experience, Jim T. said that he would be joining up.

During the meeting, LinkedIn Omaha partner David DeFord gave a tutorial on LI use.  He also included a Q+A session.  We will continue to include more educational pieces in future meetings.
