Never work alone……or at least never allow yourself not to be in a position to interact with others.  Networking in Omaha has never been easier thanks to a few great locations where you can both settle into a nice environment with your laptop and cell phone and still be in a position to network with other people.

I’ve had my own business for 10 years and the amount of business I’ve picked up from running into people in public places like Panera and Starbuck’s continues to amaze me. Here’s my top three places to set up shop for both, getting work done and networking.

1. Panera Bakery, 178^th & Center St. / Best time:  6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
2. Panera Bakery, Oakview Mall / Best time:  6:00 AM – 11:00 AM
3. Starbuck’s, 114^th & Dodge / Best time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Please keep in mind these establishments do expect to make a profit.  Out of respect to them, please don’t occupy a large table or booth during their busier periods of the day.
